This is a fantastic opportunity to join Compare the Market (Ctm) as a Lead Analyst. You’ll be an expert in using analytics to develop insights, applying your expertise to develop insights about CTM’s customers, products and services, leading projects and initiatives.  

Working in partnership with stakeholders across Ctm and the Leadership teams to foster a deep understanding about the drivers of performance and customer behaviour you’ll shape winning customer strategies. You’ll identify and champion opportunities to improve customer outcomes and performance, and play a key role in instilling an agile, data-driven culture across Ctm. You'll: 

  • Build strong cross-team relationships and work collaboratively to identify, scope and plan analytics initiatives
  • Manage the delivery of large analytics initiatives
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the application of Data Analytics within CTM
  • Provide support and mentoring to other analysts (this might include workload management)
  • Work with the Analytics Manager to identify new and innovative ways to improve the quality and impact of analytics within CTM
  • Proactively share knowledge and ideas across the wider team, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic culture
  • Develop and champion a data-driven culture
  • Ensure findings/recommendations have maximum impact through clear communication and effective data storytelling
  • Work with the wider Data team to leverage the team’s full range of capabilities to maximum effect

We'll be excited if you:

  • Have proven experience in a similar role, scoping and delivering complex analytical projects
  • Have broad knowledge of analytical and statistical methods
  • Be a skilled communicator and data storyteller
  • Have experience with SQL and one other programming language (R /Python or equivalent)
  • Have data visualisation experience
  • Be highly collaborative
  • Have planning, organisation and stakeholder management experience
  • Have mentoring and/or workload management of junior
